Invisalign comes to us from Align Technologies, a California based corporation. When you decide to undergo Invisalign treatment, you will come into our office for a series of impressions and xrays. We then send them via UPS to California, where they will literally perform an MRI on your impressions to make a 3D, computerized version of your teeth. Once that is complete, they will send those images to their scientific laboratory in Costa Rica, where they will use advanced software to project the movement of your teeth and the steps necessary to reach the desired result. The technicians in Costa Rica then send the computerized scans to Dr. Hopkins. He reviews them and makes any changes necessary. Once Dr. Hopkins approves of the treatment, the records are sent to Juarez, Mexico.
Juarez, Mexico is a large manufacturing community which is home to many companies such as Johnson and Johnson, General Electric and Honeywell. In Juarez the aligners are manufactured.
